About the Museum
We exist to preserve, protect, and share the history of BMX in Australia — from the sport's chaotic beginnings in the late 1970s to the elite athletes competing on the world stage today.
Our Mission
The Australian BMX Museum is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the history of BMX in Australia. We collect, catalogue, and share the results, stories, artefacts, and biographies that define the sport's heritage.
Our digital platform makes this history accessible to fans, researchers, athletes, families, and journalists around the world — for free, forever.
