About the Hall of Fame
The Australian BMX Hall of Fame is an independently run organisation dedicated to recognising significant achievements in both BMX Race and Freestyle disciplines in Australia. Since its founding, it has honoured the riders, pioneers, industry figures, and officials who built the sport from the ground up.
The Australian BMX Museum is proud to serve as the caretaker of the Hall of Fame Exhibition â preserving the stories, memorabilia, and legacies of Australia's BMX legends for future generations.
Each year an annual awards ceremony celebrates new inductees. The next event is the 2026 Hall of Fame Awards â August 22, Mercure Gold Coast Resort.

Jamie Hales
RiderThe first rider inducted into the Australian BMX Hall Of Fame. Australia's first 'superstar' of BMX, Jamie dominated the sport in the early 1980s, featuring on Prime Time Television and even on WeetBix Cereal Packets.

Leigh Egan
RiderThe 'Master' of Australian BMX, Leigh Egan was an imposing figure both on and off the BMX track. Australia's first Open Mens World Champion in 1984, Leigh dominated the local scene and was the first man to win 3 consecutive Open Men's titles.

Paul Addams
RiderThe first Australian Pro Rider to win three Australian National Pro titles in a row. A Former World Champion who literally dominated the sport of BMX in Australia throughout the 1980s.

Wayne McIntosh
PioneerA pioneer of the Sport in Australia, Wayne McIntosh was the first Australian Pro Rider to race AA PRO in the United States. Wayne won some of the largest Pro purses ever seen in Australian BMX History, and was joint winner of the very first Australian Open Mens National Title.

Natarsha Williams
RiderAustralia's first female inductee. Natarsha Williams dominated Womens BMX World Racing in the late 1990s, winning the first ever UCI Elite Womens Rainbow Jersey.

Tai-Lee Muxlow
Rider9 National #1 Titles, 13 State titles and a World Title â Tai-Lee Muxlow dominated womens BMX in a time when the sport of BMX was at its peak.

Sam Willoughby
RiderOne of the Greatest Of All Time. Olympic Silver Medallist, Multiple World Champion, and one of the most successful Elite Mens riders the world has ever seen.

Andrew Figliomeni
RiderWestern Australian Andrew Figliomeni was the most successful Australian BMX Racer of the 1980s. He would win 5 x #1 World Titles and completely dominated his age class at a National and State level.

Tracey Kosikowski
RiderTracey pioneered Junior female racing in Australia beginning her career in the late 1970s. She was amongst Australia's first ever World Champions and inspired a generation of young women who followed in her footsteps.

Steve Cassap
FreestyleA pioneer of Freestyle riding in Australia, Steve Cassap promoted the sport of BMX with extensive magazine and television appearances throughout the 1980s.

Rachael Marshall
RiderOne of Australia's most successful female racers of all time. Rachael Marshall won 5 x W1 World Titles and was the first person to win Junior Elite and Elite titles in consecutive years.

Alistair Johnson
PioneerConsidered one of Australia's top early pioneers of BMX racing, 'The Professor' Alistair Johnson began racing in 1977. He ran some of the earliest coaching clinics across the country and featured in Television commercials promoting the crazy new fad sport called 'BMX'.

Dean Crisp
IndustryA tough competitor and co-founder of the iconic Australian BMX race brand â Crisp Bros Racing. Dean Crisp was a highly successful Pro racer, and Team Manager.

Lyndal Ellement
RiderA three time World Champion and Multiple National Champion, Lyndal Ellement was one of Australia's first ever World Champions at just age 7.

Brian Pearse
IndustryArguably one of the most successful Factory Team managers of all time. The Brian Pearse stable of riders reads as a 'who's who' of Australian BMX royalty.

Melissa Mankowski
RiderMelissa Mankowski became one of the most dominant women in International BMX history. Between 1993 and 2004, Melissa would win twelve National number one titles, and six Number one World titles between the ages of five through to the Elite Level.

Clint Millar
FreestyleWith over 35 years of unwavering commitment to BMX and his invaluable contributions to the sport, culture and industry, Clint is recognised as one of the most influential figures in Australian freestyle history.

Mick Wiltshire
PioneerFew riders conjure up memories of the pioneering days of Australian BMX more than Sydney's 'Magic' Mick Wiltshire. One of the earliest pioneers of BMX racing, he started in 1977 and quickly inspired youngsters from all over the country.

Scott Edington
FreestyleWith beginnings in BMX as far back as the late 70s, Scott Edington would go on to become one of Australia's best known ramp riding pioneers. His big airs inspired a generation who followed.

Patrick Dillon
PioneerPat Dillon has a place at the very top table as one of Australian BMX's founding fathers. In the late 1970s Pat would host Victoria's very first BMX race meeting.

Trevor King
FreestyleEmerging in the 1980s as a Victorian pioneer Trevor King would become an Australian Freestyle icon. From television appearances to featured American Magazine spots, Trevor has done it all across all Freestyle disciplines.

Caroline Buchanan
RiderCaroline Buchanan is a global BMX superstar. She is a 2 time Olympian, Multiple World Champion and Cycling Cross discipline powerhouse.

Leigh Darrell
RiderLeigh Darrell is a fourteen-time Australian champion, and a seven-time World BMX champion. He is undoubtedly one of the most successful racers Australia has ever produced.

Jaclyn Wilson
RiderBendigo's Queen of BMX â Jaclyn Wilson has amassed a staggering 25 National #1 Titles with no signs of stopping anytime soon.

Daniel Sprague
RiderDaniel Sprague was a talented junior racer winning multiple National and World titles before taking on Americas best as a Pro racer in the 1990s. He continues to coach to this day passing on his valuable knowledge to the next generation.

Graeme Stevens
IndustryMr SLA â Graeme Stevens designed and handcrafted some of the best BMX frames for some of the most iconic Australian Brands. He was an innovator, manager, mentor, coach, race official, and administrator.
